Computer Technician
London, ON $40,000 – $50,000 a year Job Description We are looking for a technician with great technical knowledge of servers and workstations. You must be a great problem solver as the ability to research and figure out resolutions to problems independently is a must for this industry. Knowledge of the legal industry is an asset. Knowledge of computer cabling is also preferred. Knowledgeof Office365 a must Experience with PSA and RMM software is also an asset. Daily duties will include the following for clients both remotely and on-site. You own vehicle is a must. installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications; monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks; talking clients through a series of actions, either face to face or over the telephone to help set up systems or resolve issues; troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults; replacing parts as required; providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports; following diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system; supporting the roll-out of new applications; setting up new users' accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues; responding within agreed time limits to service calls; working continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate); prioritizing and managing many open cases at one time; rapidly establishing a good working relationship with customers and other professionals, testing and evaluating new technology; Salary will be based on experience.
