London, ON Permanent POSITION LOCATION: London, ON POSITION TITLE: Lead Image Service Coordinator (Manager – Operations) POSITION REPORTS TO : Manager, Image Services DEPARTMENT/UNIT NAME: Data Sciences DEPARTMENT/UNIT SUMMARY: Robarts Clinical Trials is a niche Clinical Research Organization that specializes in Inflammatory Bowel Diseases (IBD) research. Based in London, Ontario (Canada), Amsterdam (The Netherlands) and San Diego, California (USA) Robarts has specific expertise in the design, implementation and interpretation of multicenter randomized controlled trials in both Crohn's disease and Ulcerative Colitis. Currently Robarts is setting up 'translational expert centers' across the globe for early drug assessment in IBD. Besides protocol development and execution, Robarts' expertise is focused at pharmacokinetics, biomarkers, imaging and biostatistics in IBD. JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for assisting in image collection activities ensuring focus on data integrity and stakeholder support in accordance with standard processes, sponsor guidelines, industry best practices and regulatory standards. Act as a coach, mentor and/or Subject Matter Expert within the department, aiding Manager in process improvements, issue escalation and training development and delivery. Support the company in achieving objectives and strategic goals. AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: Project Delivery Support o Serve as the Lead Image Service Coordinator and primary contact responsible for overseeing day-to-day image services management activities to support project delivery o Lead or assist in study specific training development and delivery for Image Services team members on data collection processes, tools and and/or equipment o Collaborate with project teams and act as a point of escalation for Image Service related issues and queries Personnel Management o Coordinate and supervise the day-to-day work of Image Services staff o Coach, mentor, and/or train Image Services staff and contribute to recruitment and staff orientation o Review performance of direct reports and provide performance improvement feedback Operational Management o Contribute to the continuous improvement of Image Services and the wider organization through information sharing, training and education o Lead process improvement projects, identifying and prioritizing projects, identifying project metrics, and ensuring results are measurable o Identify system improvement opportunities, including identifying, developing and implementing system improvement strategies to improve productivity and efficiencies that support current and future business needs QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants should have a minimum of a one-year post-secondary certificate, in addition to 3-5 years of relevant experience. The successful candidate will also possess previous people management experience. Further, the ideal candidate will have previous experience leading in an operations role.
